One of the biggest challenges facing educators today is a selfish "me first" attitude of entitlement exhibited by a growing number of students and parents.

Tell us something that your students might find interesting, something they may not know about you.

I started school in first grade at Fourth Ward Elementary School in Paris, TX and have been in school in some capacity ever since.

As a student at Paris Jr. College I drove a bus route for my home district of Prairiland ISD. After retiring as superintendent of Tom Bean ISD, I then drove a bus for the Grayson Special Education Coop for two years. My education career in Texas was a full cycle.
