    I want students to leave my courses passionately curious and take the concepts studied in the courses and apply them to their own lives and experiences.

  • What's the best advice you could give your students?

    Don't give up! Regardless of how long it takes you to earn a degree, learning is a lifelong journey. Be patient with yourself and realize that every step, no matter how small, is forward progress!

    Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

  • What qualities make someone particularly successful in education?

    Persistence, curiosity, discipline, diligence and empathy.

  • What do you think is the biggest challenge that educators face today?

    The biggest challenge is the paradigm shift of engaging students in a virtual classroom (online synchronous and asynchronous courses) after having taught exclusively in a face-to-face modality.
