Southeastern Oklahoma State University's online RN to BSN program has specific requirements that applicants must meet to enroll. Please read the admission guidelines to ensure you qualify.

To meet the admission requirements for the RN to BSN program, applicants must submit a complete application and meet the following criteria:

To be admitted as a transfer student:

  • Submit application and pay the $30 application fee
  • Be eligible to return to the last college or university you attended
  • Submit official transcripts of all previously attended colleges and/or universities
    • If you have earned less than 24 college or university credit hours, you must also submit your high school transcript
  • Participate in College Placement Tests and/or remedial courses if specific general education requirements have not been met. Contact the Office of Admissions for more information.

Nursing Specific

Full Admission

  • Graduation from an accredited, state-approved associate degree or diploma nursing program
  • Overall 2.0 GPA with no grade below a "C" in nursing support (upper and lower division) and lower-division nursing courses

Conditional Admission

  • Nurses graduating with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may be admitted pending RN licensure in the first semester

Additional Requirements

  • Additional general education and prerequisite coursework may be required based on transcript review and on 30 hours of advanced standing credits in accordance with the State consortium agreement
