Southeastern Oklahoma State University's online DBA with a Concentration in Organizational Leadership program has specific requirements that applicants must meet to enroll. Please read the admission guidelines to ensure you qualify.

To be considered for admission to the School of Graduate Studies at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and the online DBA degree program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA, normally from an accredited MBA program. For students without an accredited MBA, the following courses or their approved equivalents must be completed as prerequisites:
    • ACCT 5233 Accounting for Managers
    • BUS 5253 Data Analysis for Managers
    • ECON 5133 Managerial Economics
    • FIN 5213 Financial Management
  • Minimum of five years of progressive business experience, including at the managerial or higher level
  • A completed application and two letters of recommendation verifying work experience.
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate college and university work attempted and completed
  • No more than nine graduate hours from an accredited doctoral program may be considered for transfer into the DBA program. Any transfer credit must be equivalent to a given JMSB doctoral requirement and approved by the JMSB and SE Graduate Dean.

Please note that, unfortunately, students with an F-1 visa are ineligible for online programs.
