To meet the admission requirements for the DBA in Strategic Management program, applicants must submit a complete application, pay the $30 non-refundable application fee and meet the following criteria:

To be considered for admission to the School of Graduate Studies at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA, normally from an accredited MBA program. For students without an accredited MBA, the following courses of their approved equivalents must be completed as prerequisites:
    • ACCT 5233 Accounting for Managers
    • BUS 5253 Data Analysis for Managers
    • ECON 5133 Managerial Economics
    • FIN 5213 Financial Management
  • Minimum of five years of progressive business experience including at the managerial or higher level
  • A completed application and two letters of recommendation verifying work experience
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate college and university work attempted and completed
  • No more than nine graduate hours from an accredited doctoral program may be considered for transfer into the DBA program. Any transfer credit must be equivalent to a given JMSB doctoral requirement and approved by the JMSB and SE Graduate Dean.

Please note that, unfortunately, students with an F-1 visa are ineligible for online programs.
