Southeastern Oklahoma State University offers six options for an online Bachelor of Business Administration. Learn more about the options to see which one is right for you.

1. BBA in General Business

A Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business helps you learn proper management skills. These applicable skills combined with an understanding of the more technical side of business can boost your ability to be a successful businessperson.

This degree program teaches foundations of business such as economics, marketing, finance and accounting. This BBA includes classes such as small business management, entrepreneurship and new ventures, and international business and law.

2. BBA in Hospitality Management

A Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management emphasizes leadership skills such as communication and problem-solving. You will also gain an understanding of organizational behavior that can improve your ability to communicate effectively in the workplace.

This degree plan specifically outlines hospitality -- restaurant, tourism and hotel operations. Some of the classes include Supervisory Management, Native American Gaming Management, and Hospitality and Tourism Marketing. You will have the opportunity to receive credit through an internship with a business firm, government agency or non-profit organization.

3. BBA in Management

A BBA in Management will show you how to manage a team through classes in small business management, human resource management and entrepreneurship. This degree plan covers the fundamentals of leadership and offers an in-depth understanding of organization and planning as well as ways to face economic challenges. An education focused on management covers many fields, allowing you to choose from a variety of career paths that include real estate, insurance and accounting.

4. BBA in Management (Minor Required)

A BBA in Management with a required minor helps students with existing credits transition into a new program. Similar to the BBA in Management without a required minor, classes include production and operations management, management science, and entrepreneurship.

This online program allows working adults to pursue a degree in management through a flexible degree plan. Accounting, real estate and insurance are some of the industries with career opportunities for program graduates.

5. BBA in Marketing

A BBA in Marketing can develop your ability to think critically and creatively to directly address a consumer's needs. This program can improve your analysis and communication skills as they apply to advertising. Classes include Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, and Marketing Management.

A student who completes this degree plan can pursue any number of career paths in marketing, with specialties in social media, market research and brand development.

6. BBA in Marketing (Minor Required)

SOSU designed this degree plan to accommodate professionals who might already have transferable college credits. This degree plan offers the same marketing core classes as the BBA without a minor required, as well as classes in international marketing, marketing logistics and supply chain management.

If you want to easily transfer credits to complete a marketing degree, this option could be the one for you -- it allows you to work, go to school, and gain the experience needed to enter the fields of social media, service marketing, and retail management.
